We introduced Computer studies in our
curriculum.

Our First batch of students appeared for the
Board Examination (AISSE)

Our Primary students secured maximum points
in the Balakalothsavam organized by Education Department of the State.

Our Vidyalaya won the Title ‘Best School’
for maximum participation in the Sub District level and District level Youth
festival and Balakalothsavam organized by Education Department of the State.
We also won the maximum number of prizes. Individual Championship was also
won by our students.

Our School bagged the overall Championship
for Balakalothsavam and Youth Festival at the Sub District level organized
by Education Department of the State. At the District level, the Best School
Trophy was also bagged by our institution.

The Prestigious ‘Kala Thilakam’ title at the
Sub District level and State level was secured by our student
Ms. Manju Warrier. She was also selected as the Jury member for the seventh
International Childrens Film Festival. She later joined the malayalam film
industry and had made a indelible mark with her histrionic talents.

Our school bagged the ‘Overall Championship’
at the UP and High School level at the Sub District and District Youth
Festival organized by Education Department of the State. The Best School
Trophy was also bagged by us.

At State level Youth Festival we presented 5
group items out of which 4 were awarded ‘A’ grade.
Ms Manju U.V. retained the first place in Bharathanatyam and also got second
place for Folk Dance.

Rizwan Ameer of our School secured 95.8% in AISSCE – 1993. He received a
letter from Poojya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda, congratulating him for his
outstanding performance.

Our School won the overall championship for
the competitions conducted by the Sahodaya School Complex, North Kerala.

An exhibition of Art, Science and Books were
organised from November 8th to 14th November.

The Superintendent of Police, Sri. Vincent
Paul inaugurated our newly equipped Computer Lab with 30 Computers.

Our Vidyalaya retained the credit of
securing maximum points in the Inter school competition organised under
Sahodaya School Complex, North Kerala.

In the All Kerala Bala Mahotsavam organised
by Chinmaya Seva Trust – Kerala, the Bal Vihar students of our Vidyalaya
secured maximum points at the regional level and at state level.

At the National level Mathematical Olympiad
organised by the Association of Mathematics Teachers of India, Lijesh
Krishnan of XII Std secured 13th Rank.
-
At the state level Indian National
Mathematical Olympiad’96 Reneesh Kannan of Std XI was one among the six
students who got selection at State level.

In the National Science Talent Search
Examination conducted by NCERT Reneesh Kannan and Rahul Rajendran of Std XI
got selection.

Our school has been identified as among 25
schools by CBSE to introduce Generic vocational course in Std XI during
1996-97 to develop work culture in students.

Our students secured five medals for the
athletic events and runner up trophy for Table Tennis match in the State
level Sports meet organised by the CBSE

In 1998 AISSC Exam Nabil Sherif bagged
Centum in Biology and was awarded a Scholarship of Rs.15,000/- to pursue
Education in Biological Science by the Dept of Biotechnology, New Delhi.

On 15th November Tennis-Academy was
inaugurated at Govindagiri, Chala.

Our Academic block at Govindagiri was
officially inaugurated by H. H. Swami Tejomayananda by lighting the lamp at
the Smrithi Mandap dedicated to Poojya Gurudev on 15th November. On the same
day Chinmaya Alumni was inaugurated by hoisting the flag.

The First CBSE South Zone Tennis tournament
was organized at our campus. This is the first time Malabar is getting the
opportunity to host a Zonal Tournament of CBSE.

Our Girls team won the title and represented
the South Zone and won the 3rd position in Nationals at Baroda
-
The Boys’ hostel was inaugurated by H. H.
Swami Purushottamananda.

Swami Chinmayananda Ever Rolling Trophy for
the All Kerala Chinmaya Vidyalaya Oratorical Contest organized by Chinmaya
Vidyalaya Tripunithura was bagged by our School.

In the Sahodaya School Tournament, our
school team secured the first place in both Volley Girls and Boys Ball and
Table Tennis for boys.

Ms.Vineetha Raghavan, secured the top mark,
96% (Top mark in the state) in AISSC Examination 2000.

H. H. Swami Tejomayananda inaugurated the
Chinmaya Vidyalaya girls’ hostel on 30th September2000.
-
The School Tennis team was declared winners
in the South Zone Tennis tournament conducted by CBSE for the girls under-15
and they were also the first runner-up at the National level.

Varun M, a student of standard V received
the National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement 2002, for his
exceptional memory from the Vice– President Sri. Kishankant on 5th
February2002.

Ms. Abina. K secured the top mark,
97.4 in AISSC Examination 2002 and won the Chinmayananda Gold Medal sponsored
by Chinmaya Seva Trust Kerala.

In AISSC Exam Anusree Prabhakar bagged
Centum in Biology and was awarded a Scholarship of Rs.15, 000/- to pursue
Education in Biological Science by the Dept of Biotechnology, New Delhi.

Our School participated for Kannur
Flower Show Competition and bagged First prize for Institutional Garden.

For the first time our students
have been able to join the NCC as private registration. One of our students
Pooja Nair of XI was awarded the All India Silver Medal for the second best
girl cadet in the country during the Republic Day camp at New Delhi 2003. She
also won the Governor’s and the Chief Minister’s Gold Medal. She was also sent
to UK as part of youth exchange programme. She was awarded the Chinmaya Gaurav
Award instituted by Central Chinmaya Mission Trust.

Three students – Kirthi Sasikumar,
Dhanya. S and Darshana. K – Secured Merit Scholarship to continue education in
Bio Science from Dept. of Biotechnology, govt. of India.

Our school won the championship
trophy for the Sub juniors, Juniors & Seniors in the Inter School Competition
of Sahodaya School Complex, North Kerala.

Our School participated in the
Kannur Flower Show Competition and bagged First prize for Institutional
Garden.

In the AISSC Exam Keerthi Gopinath
and Abdul Raouf K.P bagged Centum in Mathematics.

Our School was declared as the
Overall Champions in Sahodaya Games and Swimming.
·
School Tennis team was declared as
Runners-up for the CBSE State Level Competition conducted by CBSE for
Under-16, Under-19 girls and Under-19 boys.

Ms. Aardra Surendran secured First
place for Extempore Speech conducted by Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Trissur as a part
of their Silver Jubilee Celebration.
·
Mithun Sneh was adjudged Second Best
Speaker in the Inter-School Oratorical Contest conducted by Chinmaya Vidyalaya,
Tripunithura.
·
In the Elocution Competition held in
connection with Dr. Annie Besant’s Birth Anniversary organized by the
Theosophical Society, Kannur Aanand Shankar (Junior level) and Vineetha
Vijayan (Senior level) stood First and were awarded with gold medals.

Our School participated in the
