INFRASTRUCTURE

The Vidyalaya is well equipped with the best training facilities; well-furnished classrooms and laboratories to provide comfortable learning atmosphere.

The academic building has been designed to give a futuristic look to encourage the students to challenge the traditional ways of thinking. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated with plenty of natural light.

Five state of the art laboratories including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Computer Science give the students extensive practical experience to supplement the theories learnt in the classroom. All labs are equipped with all facilities as per CBSE norms.

Physics Lab

 We have a spacious, well equipped Physics Lab with all the necessary instruments required for both the Secondary and Senior Secondary sections. There is a separate Balance Room attached to the lab and provision is also made for a Dark Room. There is a Store where apparatus are arranged neatly. Our lab can be utilized by more than 40 students at a time

Chemistry Lab

The Chemistry laboratory is a scientifically advanced lab which has the capacity to accommodate more than 40 students at a time. It meets the challenges of modern day infrastructure with a balance room and a laboratory equipment room. The students can perform experiments with precision in this spacious lab

Biology Lab

The Biology lab is spacious and can accommodate more than 40 students at a time. A variety of models, charts, specimens and aquarium add colour and beauty to the lab. A bridge across the pond at the far end of the lab takes us to the area where the equipment and specimens are arranged beautifully in a three dimensional manner.

The Vidyalaya has an excellent computer lab. Our students have unlimited access to computers and the professional software tools that go with them. The Vidyalaya is connected to the Cyberspace through the Internet, which facilitates a highly effective communication link across the globe.Our teaching laboratories are equipped with the high-end  Pentium machines with Windows NT and multimedia PC’s

Mathematics Lab

 We have a spacious, well equipped, Mathematics lab serving the purpose of  making “ Learning of Mathematics through practical experiments ” possible.

There are around 30 laminated charts on various topics. Number patterns, Experiments and Puzzles. Models on Algebraic Identities, LCM Board, Regular Polygons, Napier’s Table etc. are some of the interesting ones.

Social Studies Learning Cell

 We have a full fledged Social Studies Learning Cell which is very beautiful and informative. One side of the room gives the students information about historical facts. The cell gives a picturesque view of the various Natural Regions of the world. We have laminated maps, models of volcanoes, land forms and a Geothermal Project.

Audiovisual Laboratory

The Audiovisual Laboratory has a videocassette recorder. This lab has facilitated the interactive teaching techniques and has given the opportunity to our students to explore the world of interactive learning.

Library

The Vidyalaya can boast of a library with a rich collection of books, periodicals, and magazines. There is a well-stocked, open-shelf library to inculcate reading habits among children. A rich collection of computer books adds another dimension to the world class facilities. Students are encouraged to cultivate good reading habits and use the library as an important centre for learning.

Located inside the campus, our well managed and disciplined hostel for boys and girls radiate a secular atmosphere where students are free to practice their own beliefs. It provides recreational facilities like Indoor games, Audio – Visual room, Prayer room, News papers, Magazines etc. Extra-curricular activities are also encouraged. The rooms, well furnished with attached bath accommodate three students each and provide the most congenial atmosphere to the students.
